Kiwi eventer Andrew Nicholson was just pipped for top honours at the Barbury International Horse Trials at the weekend, ending just 1.1 penalties behind winner Daisy Dick and Spring Along.

Nicholson, riding Nereo, finished on his dressage score over the three phases to end on 50.5 penalties.
