Queenstowns Emma Milliken is horsing around in Christchurch today.
The Wakatipu High student was one of 10 equestrian riders invited to the New Zealand Young Riders South Island Newcomer Training Camp being held yesterday and today (Monday) at the Selwyn Equestrian Centre.
Emma, 17, was in the Wakatipu Pony Club team which won the coveted Springston Trophy last year but elected to attend the dressage camp rather than defend the title in Southland this weekend.
Her sister Lisa, 12, is still representing the family at the three-day equestrian event. |
