British Eventing chief executive and Olympic course designer Mike Etherington-Smith is to visit New Zealand next month.
Etherington-Smith will hold a free public seminar at the Kihikihi Domain and a course walk over the World Cup track on John and Karen Nicholson's property.
The events, on February 12, run from 11.30am to 2.30pm and have been organised by the eventing arm of Equestrian Sports New Zealand and supported by Waikato Area Eventing and the New Zealand Pony Club Association.
As well as the Olympic Games in Hong Kong in 2008, Etherington-Smith also designed the eventing course at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky late last year.
The Kihikihi venue will also play host to the New Zealand vs Australia polo international, which starts at 3pm. Those at the seminar are invited to the Kihikihi Eventing Marquee at the main Polo Field for a late lunch and to watch the polo. |
