Dressage Waikato is pleased to announce that County Saddlery will be the principle sponsors  of the North Island Dressage Championships on 4-6 February 2011 at Kihikihi Domain, Kihikihi.

 

County Saddlery are well known for supporting Dressage within New Zealand, and a number of top riders are proud to ride in their saddles.

 

Overall Champions of each grade at the County Saddlery North Island Dressage Championships will receive dress rugs, garlands and wine in addition to other prizes, so the competition will be fierce. There are also Champion rugs and prizes for Pony and Young Riders which will be highly sought after.

 

With a large number of committed sponsors - headed by County Saddlery – and the valued support of Waipa District Council and the Lion Foundation, we are sure the event will be a fantastic spectacle, with a highlight sure to be the Zilco Grand Prix Freestyle competition run on Saturday evening, which always draws a good crowd.

 

Entries close on 10 January, and the organizers are encouraging riders to get entries in early as record numbers are anticipated in all classes, especially Advanced and Grand Prix level.

 

More details on exciting initiatives for the show will be announced in the New Year, including details of a team competition.
