Eltham's Tracy Bublitz has just proved again how special her horse RomariZ is.

The pair just returned from the prestigious New Zealand Horse of the Year with the titles of best  5-year-old ridden sporthorse and also supreme ridden sporthorse. Last year the pair won the  4-year-old title, so Tracy is delighted to do it again, and better this year.

To enter the event, the pair had to qualify, then they underwent a series of tests including dressage, showjumping and eventing, eventually coming out with the titles.

Tracy has been riding and competing with her horses since she was a child, and RomariZ is a mare she bred herself, making the win extra special. RomariZ will be taking a break for the next year, as she will be having a foal.

Tracy has a younger horse coming on to concentrate on while RomariZ is on maternity leave.
